Lucy the Careful Bee is a children’s book series that helps toddlers and preschoolers learn kindness courage and responsibility. The Careful Be message teaches young children how to make thoughtful choices and grow into kind brave and responsible people.

Our stories were dreamed up by Emily Smith, who was inspired by her Papa’s gentle words, “Careful Be.” Those two little words mean so much they remind us to slow down, notice the beauty around us, and love with our whole hearts.

Emily created me and my family. Queen CindiLou, Papa Bee, Little Leon, and all our buzzing friends to share that message with the world. Together, we learn about kindness, courage, friendship, and the sweet joy of caring for one another.
